Sales Corps (established in 2000) : driven to produce greater profits.

About Sales Corps

Sales Corps was originally incorporated in New Hampshire in 2000 as Grandifer* Sales Corps (aka The Sales Corps).  It was founded by seven firms representing the building products industry, based among the Mid-Atlantic, New England, and the Great Lakes.

We now have 11 firms with over 24 active representatives and coverage in 23 states plus the District of Columbia.

Sales Corps came together because we recognized the need for organizational synergy to better prepare each  affiliated independent manufacturers representative to anticipate and to react to consolidation in all our markets.

Sales Corps meets annually in the fall in a resort environment to discuss mutual issues and opportunities.  Past presentations have included such subjects as:

  • Contact management: ACT versus Outlook;

  • Succession planning;

  • Vehicle management: the pros and cons of accelerated depreciation;

  • Medical/health plans;

  • PDA's: Palm versus Windows-based;

  • Faxing-via-email solutions;

  • Canadian Consulate presentation on connecting with Canadian manufacturers.

Past presentations at the Sales Corps annual meeting have included subjects such as ACT versus Outlook for contact management; succession planning; the pros and cons of accelerated depreciation for vehicle management, medical/health plans, Palm versus Windows-based PDAs
*“Grandifer” is a Latin term which means “producing greater profits.”
